Berthing massive container ships is a complex, dangerous process that requires incredible coordination and situational awareness from the tug boats that guide the vessels into dock. Thanks to Trelleborg Marine & Infrastructure (TM&I) and its revolutionary SafeTug app, tugs get the 360º visibility they need to increase safety and efficiency.

That’s precisely why we conceived launching and demonstrating SafeTug with an industry first: an immersive 360° video and VR experience, integrated with highly-targeted digital marketing and content.

The campaign was TM&I’s most successful product launch to date. The initiative engaged ~25% of the total addressable market, delivering a 44:1 ROI, an 800%+ increase in MQLs and $6M in sales (a 2X increase).

The SafeTug Experience was honored at nearly every major B2B marketing awards show (and then some!) with 25+ awards and shortlists, including:
