Michael Ruby was tapped as the agency’s first global Chief Content & Experience Officer to spearhead this new team of nearly 20 experts across 6 offices.
MADE immediately generated new business and grew existing relationships, as well as contributed to some of the agency’s most innovative and award-winning work:
Developed a 360º video/virtual reality experience for Trelleborg Marine & Infrastructure – powering TMI’s most successful product launch and winning 20+ awards globally
Created an award-winning tablet-based video game for pet owners and their cats (yes, cats play it!) for Merck Animal Health, as well as games for water measurement leader ABB and for the agency’s own holiday campaign
Built a panoramic video experience center for physical and network infrastructure for industry leader Panduit
Launched the first AI-powered B2B marketing website (its new SteinIAS.com) via a chatbot named ALAN
Produced its first branded documentary series “We Work for Earth” for waste/recycling leader Republic Services
Made its first AR and photo applications for the agency’s marketing conference exhibitions

Meet ALAN, Putting the AI in B2B
With the launch of the agency’s positioning as the Post-Modern Marketing Agency, we created the first-ever B2B agency artificial intelligence — a chatbot, named ALAN (for Mr. Turing). In addition to powering our website, we created a Post-Modern photo-booth experience with ALAN for the ANA/BMA Masters of Marketing Conference. Users could interact and “take selfies” with the chatbot, which were then shared to the conference hashtag.

Stein IAS has literally written the book on Post-Modern Marketing, the concept of successfully melding daring creative experiences together with martech mastery. In addition to publishing the content, we walked the talk with an online video promotional campaign.
